Parking Elephants | Thailand

written by This Jones May 24, 2012

I saw a parked elephant.

It’s just so unreal to see these massive magical creatures walking down the street amongst all the traffic, never mind seeing them parked in between the scooters. When I see these elephants walking around with their trainers, I get an overall feeling of mixed emotions. I’m excited to see them but also very sad to see them walking in the city. I could definitely see the sadness in the elephants’ eyes. It really broke my heart – they are not designed for city life.
