Did you know, there’s a maze in South Africa?
Even better, if you’re a Cape Tonian you’d be happy to know, its right on your doorstep.
The Serendipity Maze is run by a sweet gentleman by the name of Jonathan Durr. He was thrilled and absolutely loved sharing his stories about the maze, his life, and life in general. Entering the maze as a couple is done a little differently – I’m going to keep that a secret and let it be explained by Mr. Durr himself, I’m not going to spoil the fun #winkwink.
What I will tell you is that he built the maze himself and is proud to say it is completely organic. There is no electricity and unfortunately no telephone line, so you won’t be able to call beforehand. If it’s closed on arrival, don’t be too disappointed. The little maze itself is quite awesome and it’s located in a beautiful part of Cape Town. It’s well worth a visit.
PS: Remember to ask Mr. Durr about the history of the maze and himself : )
